Street Arts Project Presents Concert in Support of Local Charity, New Chapters

Leamington Spa, 06/07/23 – The Street Arts Project are hosting a concert on Thursday, 27th July at 7:30 PM in 1 Mill Street’s beautiful event space. The event aims to raise funds and awareness for New Chapters, a local charity dedicated to rehabilitating and rehoming individuals suffering from drug and alcohol dependencies.

The concert promises an evening of performances by talented artists: Katherine Abbott, Wes Finch, Generation Jones, Mos Eisley Bros, and Jack Blackman. Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the efforts of one remarkable charity, who provide a lifeline for those caught in the devastating cycle of homelessness, addiction, and criminal activity. By offering comprehensive rehabilitation programs and assisting with safe reintegration into society, New Chapters gives individuals the opportunity to reclaim their lives and find a path to recovery.

This concert is made possible through a fruitful partnership with 1 Mill Street and Make Good Grow. Both organisations are committed to enhancing the welfare of local Good Causes through a variety of initiatives. Their collaborative efforts include hosting events and fundraisers, as well as connecting individuals, businesses and nonprofits with short-term voluntary opportunities, and much more.

In the words of Trustee Yvonne Mckinnon, who has dedicated years to working in the homelessness sector and alongside numerous drug and alcohol rehabilitation facilities, “I have witnessed huge amounts of money ploughed into new initiatives to support the vulnerable, but sadly, it doesn’t always work. There is such a stigma attached to homelessness & addiction. Individuals can recover and become just like you and me, with the support of people who understand. New Chapters gives individuals caught up in the cycle of homelessness, addiction and criminal activity an opportunity to find recovery and turn their lives around.”

The Street Arts Project invites everyone to join them on Thursday, 27th July at 7:30 PM at 1 Mill Street to enjoy a night of incredible music and make a difference in the lives of those in need. Tickets for the concert are available for purchase on Eventbrite.  For more information and to stay updated on the concert, please visit THIS LINK [https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/leamington-live-music-for-new-chapters-charity-tickets-639282219327?aff=oddtdtcreator] .
